ABOUT ME

Christian Kelly is an artist who chiefly works in photography where he can explore the limitless possibilities of darkroom chemistry. He is especially devoted to pinhole photography and its lens-less technology, finding inspiration by exploiting its restrictions.
Of course, digital photography is essential. Chris brings his lighting expertise and insights from traditional, even obscure, photography methods to create luminous digital images. He earned his BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago, Illinois in 2004.
Chris lives in Brooklyn above the darkroom and art space that he shares with his wife, Roberta, and son, Finbar. Coda Koda is supposed to only visit the studio on family portrait day.
